The Explorer has a decidedly sportback design that stands out in comparison with other three-row SUVs. The aggressive look of the Explorer is matched by sharp-looking wheels, especially if you opt for polished factory 21-inch wheels. Power-folding side mirrors are a practical option that fits with the Explorer's rugged side, too. The ST-Line trim adds some exciting accents, also.
A spacious interior is possible in the Ford Explorer because of its huge 119-inch wheelbase. Even compared to many full-size SUVs, the Explorer has legroom to spare. The seating system offers spots for six or seven people, based on your trim choice. While the Explorer is more of a passenger SUV with a rear cargo space of just 18.2 cubic feet, you can fold down the back seats to bump that figure to 87.8 cubic feet.
A terraced dashboard with limited color accents and surface textures sets the tone for the Explorer's interior. Padded seating and accent stitching make the Explorer comfortable and good-looking. You also can upgrade the Explorer to leather upholstery. Massaging front seats are available, too.
The Explorer is a tech-rich SUV. A 13.2-inch infotainment display is standard. The Explorer also supports eight USB ports, three twelve-volt sockets, 5G connectivity, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. You also can wirelessly access the infotainment system through Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. An optional 14-speaker B&O sound system is a must for audio aficionados.
